Introduction to PR was my first unit at Solent. This unit defined the elements of PR. The most influential approaches in the industry, key writers, theoreticians and researchers were also covered.

For this assignment, I wrote up two new tactical pieces on behalf of The New Forest Outdoor Centre, our chosen case study. I decided to redo their brochure and create a Facebook post. Then, I wrote a detailed 1250 word reflective log mentioning the skills I have acquired, theory I have learnt and awareness of the PR industry I have gained.
I achieved an A4 ( First ) on my very first assignment which I see as a big accomplishment.

Digital PR: the Internet and Social Media
This assignment was a live client Pitch to FivebyFive, a PR agency which is part of the Lawton Communications Group. I worked in a group of four to deliver a 20-minute creative pitch on KittenSoft, which was our brief. We used practical and visual ideas and emphasis on our strategy.
Furthermore, we created mock-ups of our content to fully illustrate how our ideas would work in real life. Overall, our aim was to deliver a timely message to our target audience in a creative way.
We achieved an A3 ( First ) and were award overall pitch winners by FivebyFive.
